About CE 6
Blackboard Campus Edition 6 (CE 6) is a learning management system widely adopted in higher education. It provides an integrated set of tools to support online content delivery, learning communities, and assessment. It can be used to deliver fully online and hybrid (50/50) courses, or to supplement or enhance a face-to-face course. With CE 6 you can:
• deliver course content
• communicate with students
• facilitate student learning activities and group work
• create and manage individual and group assignments
• deliver online quizzes and exams
• manage student grades
CE 6 is web- based. Browser software, such as internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, is used to access a CE 6 course. Faculty and students can go into CE 6 anytime and from anywhere they have access to the World Wide Web.
The CE 6 environment is a protected environment; each instructor and student must use a CE 6 username and password to access their courses. Courses are stored on a CE 6 server which is accessible only by students registered for that particular course.
